Prayer - Judasim, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam. How, When and Where we pray.

A lesson all about tolerance and independent learning. Children need to discover how when and where different religions pray with minimal teacher input. Children rotate between four tables. Each table is set up with artifacts, books, ipads/laptops and the information picture sheets provided. If possible choose a mini expert from the class for each religion to help answer questions. All of my classes love this lesson!

Islam and Eid al-Adha Class Assembly Script

(0)
Script for a class assembly about Eid al-Adha. The play follows a Muslim family as they prepare for Eid al-Adha. One of the children, Mariam, is upset because she can not go on the Hajj. Follow the family as Mariam learns just how special Eid al-Adha can be at home. Speaking parts for 30 children. This can easily be cut down by reducing the number of narrators. Songs to the tune of ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams, ‘She’ll be coming round the mountain’ and ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ all included. Script uploaded as a PDF and a word document. The formating of teh word document was altered when I uploaded it. This way you can just pick up and go with the PDF or have an editable version so you can make your own changes.
